A RARE NORWEGIAN LOVE TOKEN. Made from a silver coin minted during the period of Norway's King Oscar II's reign (1872-1905). The token is beautifully engraved with flourishes and foliate design around the initials N P. The reverse is the original coin engraved with the motto: BRODERF(ol)KENES VEL (The Good of the Brother Peoples) and has the Crowned Arms of OSCAR II of Norway.
