A RARE STERLING SILVER BROOCH FORMED AS A PIXIE (OR ELF) WITH MUSHROOMS. Stamped STERLING. The pin is a cast piece in an openwork design that features a small PIXIE wearing a peaked cap and peering from behind a clump of three mushrooms. A phenomenal brooch. It weighs 18 grams and measures 2 1/4 inches in length with a width of 1 3/4 inches at its widest point. In excellent condition.

A beautiful ART DECO Continental silver and lapis lazuli powder compact, circa 1930s. Stamped 800 inside the lid along with two other unidentified hallmarks. The compact is lozenge shaped with lobed edges. Centered on the lid is a large cabochon natural lapis lazuli gemstone set in an applied engraved open work design of scrolls and leaves.
