A fine TAXCO MEXICO STERLING SILVER NECKLACE. Stamped with an unidentified maker's mark (see enlargement 5) and TAXCO/HECHO EN MEXICO/925. The necklace is composed of 15 conjoined sections. Each section features five scrolls surrounding a half-domed ball. The back has a smooth and solid back. The necklace measures approximately 16 inches in length with a width of 3/4 inches. In excellent condition. Gross weight 34 grams.

An early, 1930s/40s, STERLING SILVER and AMETHYST BRACELET. Stamped: MEXICO SILVER. The flexible bracelet is composed of seven sections joined together by double-link chains. Each section features a polished cabochon amethyst stone in the center surrounded by a quatrefoil design interspersed with half-domed balls. Smooth, solid back (see enlargement 3). The bracelet measures 8 inches in length by 1 inch in width. In excellent condition. Gross weight 40 grams.

Hinged straight pin on the back with a safety clasp. The brooch has a very graceful openwork swirl design and is beautifully constructed with a smooth back. It measures an impressive 2 1/2 inches by 1 1/4 inches. In excellent condition.

The design, though not made or signed by him, is one of Hector Aguilar's most popular designs and features five connected sections of three vertical balls alternating with linked oxidized "C' scrolls. It is of heavy weight - weighing 67.18 grams. In excellent condition. The bracelet measures 7 1/2 inches in length with a width of 1 1/8 inches/

The maker, Espinosa, is listed in Hougart, as from Taxco Mexico but with no Eagle mark number. The cufflinks are beautifully hand crafted featuring a swirl design against an oxidized background. They each measure 1 inch by 5/8 inches.
