A FINE WAX PORTRAIT OF KING GEORGE IV BY FRANCOIS BROCHARD. CIRCA 1820. Signed on the truncation: Brochard f(ecit). The finely modeled wax sculpture depicts the King in profile and facing right. The image measures approximately 2 1/4 inches by 1 1/2 inches. On a dark green velvet backing mounted in a shadow box frame measuring 7 inches by 6 1/2 inches. GEORGE IV of ENGLAND was Prince Regent from 1811-1819 and King from 1820-1830. In excellent condition.
