RARE EPHEMERAL BOOKLET "COLGATE'S EXQUISITE PERFUMES". 1915. A small booklet - the embossed covers are printed in color and protected by transparent striped paper. Four of Colgate's perfumes are described and illustrated in color: FLORIENT, RADIANT ROSE, SPLENDOR, and VIOLETTE DE MAI. Also mentioned but not illustrated is ECLAT. The booklet measures 5 1/2 inches x 2 3/8 inches. In very good condition.
VINTAGE FIGURAL "CUCKOO CLOCK" SOLID PERFUME BY VANDA, U.S.A. Goldtone metal and rhinestones formed as a CUCKOO CLOCK. The rhinestones are set as the numbers on the clock's face. Acorn motif and pearl pendulums. The compact is fitted with a jump ring for hanging on a chain. The clock has very nice detailing. WORTH "JE REVIENS" NECKLACE. Paris: Worth, 1980s. A promotional item by WORTH of Paris given as a gift with purchase of Worth's "JE REVIENS" PERFUME. The necklace measures 16 inches in length. Goldtone clasp (marked WORTH PARIS) and fittings. The necklace features a row of alternating turquoise, white and gilt plastic beads that are attached to a twisted white silk rope. A lovely goldtone and turquoise solid perfume compact containing MAX FACTOR's "HYPNOTIQUE" fragrance. Circa 1970s. Most of the perfume is still inside the container. A handsome goldtone ELEPHANT SOLID PERFUME COMPACT. Max Factor. Circa 1970s. The hinged figural compact opens at the top revealing an inside compartment containing most of its original Hypnotique solid perfume contents. The elephant is highly detailed on both sides. A wonderful vintage MAX FACTOR "ROYAL REGIMENT" BOTTLE for the Military buff! The molded glass bottle stands 6 1/2 inches tall. It features an applied facsimile of a regimental badge on one side of the bottle. The black stopper is inset with a similar gilt badge (please see enlargements for details). Bottle only - no contents (it originally contained a lime-based cologne for men). In excellent condition with no chips or cracks.
