A PAIR OF COLOR LITHOGRAPHED TIN FIGURES. A CIRCUS CLOWN and CIRCUS RIDER. Each figure is made of die-cut tin. The clown measures 2 1/4 inches in height and is in black and white with a suit having an all-over BIRD DESIGN. The rider measures 2 1/4 inches in height by 2 1/2 inches in width and is printed in black, white, red and yellow. Please see enlargements for condition. Probably date to early 20th century.

A rare child's 1930s CELLULOID CLOWN RATTLE. Ivory celluloid with pink and blue accents. The rattle is formed as a clown. His costume features a ruffled collar, sleeves, and trousers each trimmed in blue. He wears a pink hat and has pink rosettes on his bodice and trouser legs. He even carries his own rattle! The rattle measures 4 1/2 inches in height by 2 inches in width with a depth of 3/4 inches. In very good condition with no cracks or dents.

He is made of laminated cardboard (5 layers) and has a delightful lithographed design on both the front and back of his die-cut form.
