On Phil May's personal stationery measuring 6" x 4" (1/2 of what was originally a double-fold notelet) and headed: "ROWSLEY,/HOLLAND PARK ROAD,/KENSINGTON,W.". A PAIR OF BOOKMARKS COMMEMORATING THE FIRST MEETING OF THE LEWIS CARROLL SOCIETY (of NORTH AMERICA). The bookmarks were issued and given as a remembrance of the meeting held at Princeton University, January 12-13, 1974. Each bookmark is printed in the type of purple ink favored by Carroll and measures 7 1/4 inches by 2 1/4 inches. In fine condition. Many Carroll enthusiasts attended, including Martin Gardner, Stan Marx, David & Maxine Schaefer, et al.

FACSIMILE OF A BATTLEDORE OWNED BY THE BOSTON PUBLIC LIBRARY. Boston: The Horn Book, Inc., 1941. A limited edition - this is No. 567 of 1000 copies. A tri-fold stiff card with folded measurement 4 7/8 inches by 3 1/4 inches. This is a facsimile of an original Battledore which was printed and sold by C. Croshaw, York, England. It features upper and lower case alphabets for instructing young children along with woodcut engravings for their amusement. In fine condition.

A FINE VINTAGE CHRISTMAS POSTCARD. L & E SERIES 2227. Printed in Germany. Postally used and postmarked from Frederick Md, Dec. 24, 1909. Divided back. The card features a panelled border with holly on a gilt background and having a circular inset at each corner - each with a different version of Santa Claus.
