A VICTORIAN EMBOSSED AND LACE PAPER VALENTINE. Circa 1890s. Folded measurement is approximately 6 1/4" x 4 1/2". The card has a border printed in blue, pink, white and gilt. The card is decorated with lace paper and colorful scrap. There is a four-line poem on the inside which is printed within a decorative illustration featuring Cupid and his bow and arrow. In very good condition with no inked or pencilled writing or signatures.

A fine vinatge 1930s DIE-CUT VALENTINE. The full color card depicts a TEDDY BEAR playing a violin and broadcasting from radio station VAL. It is captioned "TO MY VALENTINE AW FIDDLE-STICKS! MUST I BROADCAST MY LOVE FOR YOU?". The card is folded so that it may be free-standing. It measures approximately 6 inches by 5 1/2 inches. There is a very small crease to the feather in the bear's hat. Neatly signed on the back.
