EX LIBRIS BOOKPLATE FOR JOSEPH GOODALL (1760-1840). A finely engraved armorial bookplate printed on laid paper. Joseph Goodall was PROVOST of ETON from 1809-1840. ETON, the prestigious and elite seat of learning, has traditionally been the school of choice for the English aristocracy including no less than the PRINCES WILLIAM AND HARRY, children of Prince Charles and Princess Diana. The bookplate is in excellent condition and measures 3 5/8 inches by 2 7/8 inches.

Inserted in four slots at the top of one side (see enlargement 2) is a RARE "SNIFF" card advertising VOLT PERFUME PRODUCTS.
