A lovely VICTORIAN CHRISTMAS GREETINGS CARD. Circa 1890. The card features an openwork front cover with an embossed design of roses and forget-me-nots. The colors are primarily pinks, blues, green, and gilt - on a white background. The covers have an attached silk cord which hold a four page insert inside with Christmas greetings and line drawings all printed in blue. The card is in excellent UNUSED condition. It measures 5 inches by 3 inches.
A large vintage CHRISTMAS CARD from CLARIDGE'S HOTEL, LONDON. No date. The card is printed in white, brown and green on heavy tan colored stock. It features a brown silk ribbon bow on the front cover and, on the inside, a coaching scene and view of the hotel as it looked in 1891.
