MINTON bone china cup and saucer in the DRYDEN pattern. Each piece is decorated with a floral and leafy border in soft colors. Gilt trim. Fluted shanked shape. In excellent condition. No chips, cracks or hairlines. Saucer measures 5 1/2 inches in diameter. Cup measures 2 1/4 inches in height by 4 1/4 inches at its widest point.
Coalport Cottage Pastille Burner, 1964. "The Master's House". Impressed date on the base of 1964. Porcelain cottage with applied bocage and flowers. Gilt trim. A charming example of one of Coalport's 1960s pastille burners that were based on antique models. Pastilles were aromatic pellets used for scenting the room. A pair of HAND-PAINTED coasters by Royal Worcester, circa 1965. Backstamp states Hand Painted (in script). Each coaster features a game bird - 1. flying Mallard duck, and, 2. Pheasant or Grouse. Each bird is centered within a beaded circle design featuring five turquoise "jewels". Ribbed sides. Gilt rim. In fine condition with no chips or cracks etc. Each coaster measures 3 1/2 inches in diameter by 9/16 inches in depth.
A pair of floral decorated trinket, or ring, trays by Royal Crown Derby. Circa 1950s. Each is beautifully decorated with floral groups - one large group in the center surrounded by four smaller groups positioned at each corner. Gilt rim. One of the trays has a small nick on the gilt rim visible on the tray pictured on the left in enlargement 1 and shown also in enlargement 3 - this could easily be touched up with gilt, otherwise these are in fine condition with no other faults. A child's mug by by Portland Pottery Ltd., Cobridge,Staffordshire. Circa 1950. This factory flourished under this name from 1946 - 1953. Decorated on two sides with horse scenes - side 1 features a stage coach scene outside a country Inn; side 2 features two horses - one with a rider, the other, is riderless. A green and brown stripe decorates the rim and a green stripe is on the handle. There is one tiny rim chip otherwise in excellent condition. Measures 2 3/8 inches in height.
