GRIMWADES "PETER RABBIT TEASET" CUP & SAUCER. Grimwades Ltd., 1920s. Copyright F. Warne & Co. Ltd. A toy cup and saucer from the "PETER RABBIT" series of nurseryware by GRIMWADES. Their teaset, which was approved by Beatrix Potter, turned out to be a popular success. "MARY HAD A LITTLE LAMB" ROYAL DOULTON FIGURINE. Designed by Margaret Davies. One of Doulton's most charming NURSERY RHYME FIGURES. It depicts Mary - seated, and with her lamb gazing up into her sweet face. Mary is wearing a lilac dress with blue trim. The figure measures approximately 3 1/2 inches in height. In excellent condition with no chips or cracks. SIGNED on the base with the painter's initials "MM".

A GUIDE THROUGH THE WORCESTER ROYAL PORCELAIN WORKS. Worcester: Bayliss & Son, Ltd., (1920s). 48 pages plus covers. Illustrated. Includes a history of the company dating back to 1751, descriptions of all aspects of the manufacturing process, and has four pages showing the company's marks. Measures 7 1/4" x 3 1/4". A few neat ink notations on the marks' pages otherwise in excellent condition (please see enlargements 5 & 6). A scarce booklet.

A wonderful child's porringer bowl by Thomas Lawrence, Longton, England. Circa 1950s. Stamped on the back: FALCON/ PLAYTIME/MADE/IN/ENGLAND. AUSTRALIAN ANIMALS! The center of the bowl features a scene of two KOALA BEARS playing cricket. The rim of the bowl has a border of leaping KANGAROOS interspersed with trees. In excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or hairlines. The bowl measures 6 inches in diameter by 1 1/2 inches in depth.
