A FINE ART NOUVEAU STERLING SILVER PENCIL CASE & ORIGINAL PENCIL. Circa 1890s. Stamped STERLING. Each side of the case has a lovely ART NOUVEAU DESIGN of CAT-TAILS (BULRUSHES) surmounted by a water lily and water lily pad. Large ring for wearing on a chain. The case measures 3 inches in length (not including the ring). The pencil measures 2 inches in length. The silver cap on the pencil end has a small puncture at the top and minor dents on the sides.

AN ARTS & CRAFTS GUILLOCHE ENAMEL AND PEARL BROOCH. Circa 1905. Rectangular with canted corners and set with a small seed pearl in the center. The brooch features turquoise blue enamelling over brass. There is some enamel loss which is not really noticeable except under magnification. Hinged straight pin on the back with a C clasp. The brooch measures 1 1/4" by 1/2".

Together with a signed certificate from WALT DISNEY ATTRACTIONS, INC. stating that the handkerchief is from the estate of LILLIAN GISH. The handkerchief is extremely fine and delicate and features pale blue silk embroidery. Scalloped corners. The name "LILLIAN" is embroidered, in script, on one corner.
