VOLUPTE OVAL GOLDTONE AND BLACK POWDER COMPACT. Circa 1930s. The interior lid is fitted with a mirror. Contains a powder sifter and pink puff. The lid features a lovely design of birds against branches with leaves and clumps of fruit. The base shows wear and has residue of glue from a price label. The compact measures 2 3/4 inches by 1 3/4 inches with a depth of 1/2 inch. Stamped VOLUPTE USA.

QUEEN ELIZABETH II CORONATION MEDALLION BOXED. 1953. The medallion measures 1 1/2 inches in diameter. The obverse features a finely modelled bust of Queen Elizabeth in profile facing right. The reverse features ALBERT TOFT's famous "Ship of State" scene which was first used for King George V and Queen Mary's Coronation in 1911. Please see enlargement for details.
