A charming pair of vases designed as nurseryware. Early 20th century. There is no maker's mark, only an impressed number "3059" at the base of one of the vases. These could be of either American or European manufacture. Each vase is of flattened oval shape with scroll decoration at the top and has five indented vertical slats at the top filled with a green glaze. A pair of floral-decorated knife rests by Meissen. Each with the Meissen crossed swords mark, in blue, underglaze. Fine porcelain rests with hand-painted floral decoration at either end of each rest and on three sides - a total of 12 different floral designs. Gilt trim. In excellent condition with only slight wear overall. Each rest measures approximately 3 3/4 inches in length.

A stunning Art Deco double belt buckle, circa 1920s. Two circular carved abalone shell discs with carved design. Each is fitted on the back with metal attachments for a belt. Wonderful iridescent colors are displayed when catching the light. There is a very light surface scratch on one disc otherwise the buckles are in near mint condition. Each circle measures 1 1/2 inch in diameter - joined, they measure 2 7/8 by 1 1/2 inches.

A lovely sterling silver open-work floral brooch, circa 1940s. A hinged straight pin with safety clasp is on the back. The designer's initials L.M and STERLING are stamped on the back. The brooch has an oval frame featuring a three-dimensional blossom with two buds. A substantial and well crafted piece reminiscent of the works of Georg Jensen. Measures 2 1/8 inches by 1 5/8 inches. In excellent condition. A fine vintage piece.

A fine LA PIERRE CO. sterling silver ART NOUVEAU belt buckle, circa 1890. Stamped on the back with the maker's mark and STERLING. Classic horizontal open rectangle with an engraved border design depicting four water lilies amidst swirling water. Fitted on the back with a two prong belt attachment. In fine condition.
