I. MICHELSON STERLING SILVER & VERMEIL CIRCLE PIN. New York: stamped on the back with the maker's mark. A circle pin with a gold-over-silver (vermeil) bow or ribbon on the upper left. The circle is studded with 26 rhinestones and there are an additional three accenting the bow. The pin measures approximately 1 3/4 inches at its widest point. The rhinestones have closed backs (see enlargement 4) which dims their lustre somewhat otherwise in fine condition. A nice example from this scarce ...click for details

A RARE RED GLASS BEAD BROOCH. C. 1900. The brooch features seven RARE red glass beads which are strung on a high quality metal safety-pin style fastener. The central bead is faceted and has no decoration. Four of the six other beads are each decorated in gilt and are separated by fine gilt spacers. Please see enlargements for details. The clasp is very secure. The brooch measures 3 1/2 inches in length. Fine condition.

A FINE 14K GOLD, GARNET & DIAMOND SCARF PIN or STICKPN. C. 1905. Not marked but tests 14K gold, genuine garnet, and genuine diamond. The top features an openwork circular frame centered with a genuine garnet surmounting a prong-set genuine diamond. The top measures approximately 3/8 inches in diameter. The length of the pin is 2 1/2 inches. In excellent condition.

A FINE 14K GOLD (TOPPED WITH SILVER) STICKPIN SET WITH 4 SAPPHIRES & A PEARL. Circa 1900. The circular top features four cornflower blue genuine sapphires at four outer stations. A pearl is in the center of a circular top that is silver over the 14K gold. An unusual and beautiful design. The top has a diameter of 1/2 inches. The pin has a length of 2 1/2 inches.

AN ANTIQUE 14K GOLD (tested) & DIAMOND STARBURST PENDANT OR PIN. Circa 1900. The pendant has a fold-down bail and hinged steel (for strength) straight pin on the back (original to the piece) so that it may be worn as a brooch. The pendant has a starburst design which was so popular in the late 1890s and early part of the 20th century. It is centered with a prong set diamond. The pendant features a drop design of four pairs of leaves with each pair set with four diamonds for a total of sixteen diamonds. The leaves surmount an oval opal which is bezel set in yellow gold. The pendant measures approximately 1 1/2 inches in length from the top of the bail to the bottom. The chain is stamped 14K and with an unknown designer's mark. In excellent condition.
