A beautiful flower pin by MARCEL BOUCHER. Circa 1960. Stamped on the back with the maker's mark and with an inventory number - 9291P. It has a hinged straight pin on the back with a safety clasp. The goldtone pin is designed as an openwork three-dimensional flower (camellia?) composed of overlapping petals. The brooch features a single brilliant-cut rhinestone, representing a dewdrop, which is carefully placed on one of the petals. A pair of carved and hand painted BAKELITE CLIPS (tested). Circa 1920s. Each clip has a hinged silvertone pronged clip on the back. Deep maroon color clips in a modified leaf shape. Each clip features incised floral designs hand painted in various colors such as blue, yellow, white, red, turquoise, lavender, and orange. There is some loss to the paint - in particular to the lavender flowers - but, generally the loss is minimal.
