A fine ART NOUVEAU period 14K GOLD, MOONSTONE and DEMANTOID GARNET BROOCH. Stamped 14K and with a "D" (believed to be by E.A. Dreher & Son, Newark, New Jersey). Circa 1890. A 14K gold (not marked but tested) ART NOUVEAU scarf pin or stickpin. Circa 1899. ORIGINAL BOX. The top of the pin is formed as a typical ART NOUVEAU woman's head with fine detailing. She is wearing a tiara which has a decorative piece that curves down to the nape of her neck. The top measures 1/2 inch in height by 3/8 inches in width. The pin stem measures 2 1/8 inches in length. Housed in its original silk and velvet lined box. The box shows wear.
