A fine vintage POWDER COMPACT by Majestic, U.S.A. Signed. The oval goldtone compact features a beautiful iridescent shell top (abalone?) that is in remarkably fine condition. The hinged lid opens to reveal a metal mirror fitted on the inside. Slight overall wear to the gilt metal but overall this item is in fine condition. The compact measures 2 3/4 inches by 2 1/4 inches with a depth of 1/2 inch.
Vintage POWDER COMPACT. Circa 1930s. A square goldtone metal lady's compact with a hinged lid. The top is black and is set in the center with a domed gilt-rimmed plaque featuring a pink rose design. The inside lid is set with a metal mirror in fine condition. The original powder sifter is present. Slight surface wear but, overall, in very good condition. The compact measures 2 1/2 inches by 2 1/2 inches by 5/8 inches.
A set of three Irish embroidered and lace handkerchiefs in original pictorial box. The box features a great lithographed print of a lady in period costume. Made in Ireland. One corner of each of two of the hankies features an embroidered lady carrying an umbrella and wearing a lace skirt. A set in excellent unused condition. The box measures 8 inches by 8 1/8 inches.
