| A Copeland/Spode plate, 1917. See enlargement 4 for marks which include an impressed mark for 1917 and, also, one indicating this plate was an exclusive for the firm of Bailey, Banks & Biddle, Philadelphia. Lobed edge. The plate has a border with three molded and handpainted floral groups. The center features a transfer design of a floral wreath incorporating tulips (see companion plate listing which features different flowers in its central design). Very light overall crazing otherwise in fine condition with no chips, hairlines, etc. Measures 9 1/8 inches in diameter. | |||||||
