| An early Coalport cup and saucer, circa 1880s. See enlargement 5 for the backstamp which was used by the company from 1880-1890. Each piece has handpainted floral sprays in soft colors. Gilt trim on rims and gilt decorated handle. There is a hairline at the base of the handle otherwise in excellent condition with no chips. The saucer measures 5 3/4 inches in diameter. The cup measures approximately 2 3/4 inches in height. | ||||||||
