| A LATE 18Th OR EARLY 19th CENTURY PATCH BOX. A fine tortoiseshell patch box of circular form with the inlaid gold crest of the powerful and important MEDICI family on the center of the lid. For many centuries, the Medicis had noble and royal titles. This box was probably used as a patch box and measures 1 5/8 inches in diameter. In very fine condition.
