| A fine pair of WEDGWOOD STERLING SILVER and JASPER MEDALLION EARRINGS. Clip backs. Stamped on the back of the silver frame with the silversmith's initials FAW and incised on the back of the medallion: WEDGWOOD MADE IN ENGLAND 69. The oval earrings are centered with a fine Wedgwood medallion within a sterling silver frame with beaded edge. The medallions have a black ground featuring, in white relief, a classical scene of "ANDROMACHE MOURNING THE ASHES OF HECTOR". Andromache, wife of Hector, the Trojan hero, is shown in mourning for her husband who was slain by the Greek warrior Achilles. Each earring measures 1 inch by 5/8 inches.
