STORY OF BUNNY ESMOND. ESMOND BLANKETS ADV.BOOKLET 1924
THE STORY OF BUNNY ESMOND. BEING AN ACCOUNT OF THE STRANGE ADVENTURE OF BUNNY RABBIT WITH THE RED FOXES AND OF WHAT HE FOUND OUT ABOUT BLANKETS. Esmond, Rhode Island, The Esmond Mills, (1924). A 24 page booklet with EIGHT full page color illustrations by HARRY M.KIDD. A charming story (showing the influence of both Beatrix Potter and Thornton Burgess) about the sad consequences of a small rabbit who bragged about his fur. The foxes snipped his fur off to teach him a lesson. He nearly froze to death but an Esmond Blanket ends up saving the day. In very fine condition. Measures 5 5/8" x 3 1/2".
