Title vignette and 27 color illustrations. With correct endpapers for Linder 2&3 indicating the first American edition and Schlueter imprint on p. 86. The Linder 3 endpapers now show a brown cat facing left (replacing the white cat) as well as the addition of "The Amiable Guinea Pig". Has the incorrect spelling of "muffatees" instead of "muffetees" on p. 15. Spine has some chipping otherwise a good to very good copy. FIRST AMERICAN EDITION.
