Illustrated endpapers. Line drawings and full color illustrations in brush and inks by Burkert. FIRST EDITION (see enlargements 6,7,8,&9). Item 2.) BURKERT'S ORIGINAL COLOR INK DRAWING FOR THE TITLE-PAGE. The drawing is in a large acid-free mat measuring 16 inches in height by 20 inches in width. The image opening measures 4 1/4 inches in height by 6 1/2 inches in width. The drawing depicts a ripe peach and blossoms on a leafy branch (see enlargements 1,2,3,&4).
