| "HANNAH BINT". A SIGNED WOOD ENGRAVING BY JOAN HASSALL. Joan Hassall (1906-1988) (the daughter of illustrator John Hassall) created this design for her illustrated edition of Mary Russell Mitford's "OUR VILLAGE" published in 1947. The print is on paper measuring approximately 5 3/4 inches by 4 1/2 inches. Image size is 4 inches by 2 3/4 inches. A charming rural scene of a couple with two dogs. CAPTIONED BY THE ARTIST AND SIGNED LOWER RIGHT. In excellent condition (ignore what appears to be a spot at 9 o'clock which is a fault of the camera). | ||||||
