Staffordshire toby jug/mug decorated with a blue willow pattern coat, mid 19th century. Height approximately 5 1/2 inches tall, base approximately 4 7/8 inches by 4 3/8 inches. Good estate condition: possible restoration to top edge (there is a change in texture on the black outer edge - no change on the interior side of the black edge - however I see no difference under my black light, and this has been in my private collection for over 30 years), underglaze chip on rim, flea bite on rim.
