Very sweet compact, pre 1920, decorated with engine turning and hand-painted flowers. The enamel is probably on copper. With silver plated details, polished steel mirror, goldtone interior. Approximately 1 3/4 inches square. Excellent estate condition with minor scratching to enamel, remnants of powder.

Lovely vintage lipstick case, probably Italian, c.1920. Enamel decoration on silver gilt depicting 18th century style lovers, glass thumb piece, hand engraved. Marked 800. Length approximately 2 inches, depth approximately 3/4 inches, height approximately 3/4 inch. Good estate condition, wear to gold wash, with fractures to 'malachite' enamel near thumb piece, internal cracks in enamel at man's face.
