This Chinese enameled and silver-gilt double compartment box, late 19th century or very early 20th century, is fitted with a mirror on the interior of its lid, decorative element hides hinge, butterfly motif on top. Length approximately 2 7/8 inches, width approximately 2 inches, depth approximately 1 1/8 inches when measured at its deepest point. Excellent estate condition.
