Unmarked Navajo silver pill or snuff box, probably from the 1940s or 1950s. The lid is decorated with stamped designs and set with a turquoise approximately 7.5mm round. Dimensions approximately 1 3/16 inches (excluding hinges) x 1 5/8 inches x 3/8 inches. Weight approximately 25.1 grams, all in. Excellent estate condition.

Solid silver footed Navajo ingot ashtray, hand forged with stamped decoration, probably 1930's-40's. Length approximately 3 3/8 inches, width approximately 2 1/4 inches, height approximately 1/2 inch, weight approximately 31 grams. These pieces were quickly made and often show cracks, scratches and solder lumps. There is a small crack on the reverse edge and there are several solder lumps near the cigarette rests, otherwise excellent estate condition.

A pair of handmade Navajo silver salad servers, decorated with stamped designs, circa 1950, scratch marked JO/JT on the reverse of the spoon handle (see photo). Length of spoon approximately 7 7/8 inches, length of fork approximately 7 5/8 inches, total weight approximately 126 grams. Excellent estate condition.

These rare salt dips and salt spoons are a blending of Native American traditions; Navajo silver and Pueblo pottery. Salts are black pottery, unsigned, diameter approximately 1 3/4 inches. Length of salts approximately 2 3/8 inches. Pre 1960. Marked: KB [for Kenneth Begay (1913-1977), important Navajo silversmith who worked primarily at White Hogan in Scottsdale, AZ.] The White Hogan mark is also present as is the word STERLING.
