Pair of Southern Coin Silver Teaspoons Campbell & Wyman
A pair of southern coin silver teaspoons with the stamp of Campbell & Wyman. According to the Georgia Museum of Art, Campbell & Wyman were retailers in Montgomery, Alabama, ca 1855-1859. These spoons may have been made by that firm, or they may have been made by a northern silversmith and retailed by Campbell & Wyman. Engraved monogram (see picture). Length approximately 6 inches, total weight approximately 35.5 grams. One spoon looks as though some dents have been hammered out of the bowl, otherwise they are in very good estate condition.
