A Bizen pottery okimono depicting a noh dancer in the role of Okina, holding in his left hand a rattle and at the back a fan. Very nice glaze. Condition: fine. Dimension: 35,5 cm high. Weight: 1800 gram.
A small circular carved red lacquer box and cover. The cover finely carved with peony flower against a square pattern ground. The sides patterned with eight pointed rosettes in squares. The interior and the base lacquered black (probably relacquered). The body made of metal. Condition: Three losses to the lower rim (see pics), slightly chipped. Dimensions: 9,7 cm diameter x 5,8 cm high. Weight: 210 gram.
On hammered silver ground the background in transparent and iridescent red enamel. The front depicting an orchid blossom, delicately designed in white, yellow and red opaque enamel, accentuated by silver wires. The interior in deep blue, the rims made of silver: the inferior marked: Jungin (silver hallmark). Ando mark on the base, under enamel in wire. Condition: good. Dimensions: 24,3 cm high x 12,6 cm wide.
A copper repousse depicting the four armed deity Virabhadra, standing in a columnar niche, flanked by two attendants. Wearing a dhoti and holding his four attributes. With loops attached to a wooden board, backside with copper handle. Due to ritual practice the nose, eyebrows and part of one hand are rubbed away. Condition: wear due to usage. Dimensions: 19,8 cm high x 15,5 cm wide.
Fitting made of iron, pierced and damascened in gold. The central piece is showing an animal between scrolls. The three wooden pendants with remnants of leather. Export wax seal. Condition: see pics. Dimensions: circa 25 cm long.
Consisting of vest, belt and bag, in beige felt, heavily embroidered with couched silver and gold threads, additional use of blue beads and metal thread knobs. Silk lining. Condition: Few signs of wear and missing knobs. Otherwise in good and clean condition. Dimensions: Vest 35 cm high, bag 39 cm high, belt 71 cm long.
