The ground fabric is red wool felt, imported in the 19th century from England. Embroidered in sanlan (three shades of blue) with silk and couched silver wrapped threads. Pink silk lining. Condition: some small holes and missing threads, lining with stains. Dimension: 29.6 cm x 115 cm.

A fragment of a yutan (furniture cover), the brocade with orange brown ground showing the design in rows of five-clawed dragons alternating with clouds. Woven in polychrome silk and silvered strips of paper. With applied Japanese family crest roundels of triple hollyhock, worked in silk with couched gold threads. With undyed linen lining. A Buddhist priest stola made of brocaded satin in silks and silvered paper strips, decorated with the rare design of Buddhist wheels. Each end of this ohi with two patches of different brocades. Later brown cotton lining. Condition: area with losses, partially worn, some loose threads and strips. Dimension: 130.5 cm x 27.5 cm.

An Indian Kalamkari mat, probably from Coromandel coast, made of slightly padded and quilted chintz. The cotton ground is block-printed and painted with a central medallion surrounded by meandering exotic flowers and crenelation. Lined with printed cotton, indigo dyed fabric edging. Condition: clean, few very small old mends, little small age stains. Dimension: 121 cm x 83 cm.

A splendid Chinese export silver circular egg cruet fitted with four egg cups and four spoons each decorated with bamboo. The cruet standing on 3 ball feet, the cups and spoons with gilt bowls. The cruet and cups with maker's mark "TC" standing for Tuck Chang who was active between the late 19th century and early 20th century in Shanghai. Condition: few traces of usage, few wear to gilding. Dimension: total height: 19 cm, cups: 7.4 cm high, spoons: 10 cm long, total weight: 386 g.
