Two large unmounted vintage photographs dating from around 1910 in Burma (British India), taken by a Burmese photographer (one with superimposed inscription: Ma Tok Mandalay). Showing young lavishly costumed dancers on an outdoor stage, one taking with two elephants. Condition: one print with two small tears, both little creased. Dimension: 21.2 cm x 28.7 cm.

The pamor steel blade with nine waves, the hilt ring made of metal with granulation decoration. The marine ivory hilt is carved in the Madura style with scrollwork, faces and a winged horse. The upper part of the wooden scabbard in boat-shape with a small carved section, the lower part cased with embossed metal. Condition: good, wood section with a small imperfection, maybe scabbard not original. Dimension: dagger: 45.5 cm long, with scabbard: 47.5 cm long.

The circular steel barrel with incised decoration, the lock-plate engraved with scrollwork. The sparsely carved wooden stock with a repousse silver casing at the muzzle and a pseudo rammer. The butt and the pommel with sumptuous silver and niello facings set with stone or coral cabochons. Flintlock is working. Condition: Pommel slightly dented, the silver facings with two imperfections and missing fixing pins. Dimension: 50.5 cm long.

Thin steel blue silk gauze brocaded with design of four-clawed dragons chasing the flaming pearl above lishui and amidst clouds. The mang dragon in profile holding the pearl. Condition: several old repairs, splits, tears and thin areas. Part of the front is folded and sewn together with backside. Dimension unextended: 170 cm x 64.5 cm.
