Kimono design with fan and plum blossom. Lavishly printed with gold and silver, one margin fixed to monochrome woodblock print containing the index of the booklet. Single leaf from a textile design book for the kimono trade, originally with 25 prints, produced 1900 in Kyoto. These pattern books were sent by the manufacturer to the shops so that potential customers could see the available assortment. Condition: binding holes, slightly yellowed. Dimension: 23.2 cm x 32.4 cm.

Hand colored copper plate etching, trimmed and glued on old cardboard, beneath with an old label in French, written in ink: "Arc de triomphe a Canton en Chine". Designed by P. van Blanckaert and etched by G.G. Winckler in Augsburg Germany, in the second half of the 18th century. Depicting the view of a triumphal arch at Canton. Condition: Trimmed, mounted on cardboard, small but old fissure, lightly stained. Dimension: Etching 27,5 cm x 40,8 cm. / cardboard 35,2 cm x 48,5 cm.

A hardwood furniture panel inlaid with boxwood. Depicting a detailed garden scene with a high ranking official sitting before a moon gate, surrounded by six attendants. On the right side a small pavilion with a censer. Condition: The panel distorted and with some age splits. Due to the distortion some parts of the boxwood inlays are lifted out quite heavy. Inlay with few losses and cracks. Dimension: 24 cm height and 42,7 cm length. Weight: 660 gram.

A small censer cast in bronze with dark patina, standing on four feet. The square body decorated with four panels depicting Kanzan and Jittoku, Hotei and two warriors, one is riding a horse, the other is riding a dragon. A shishi with open mouth on top of the lid. Two handles, one of them a little bit loose. Condition: Traces of age and usage. Dimension: 14,5 cm height. Weight: 1135 gram.
