A pair antique Chinese silver salts, differently decorated. One with the eight immortals and the other with bamboo, peony, auspicious characters and figures in a landscape. Bases with maker's mark "LW" and a Chinese character hallmark. Luen Wo was active in Shanghai circa 1880-1925. Condition: inside little corroded. A rare pair of Blanc-de-Chine porcelain canisters with flat covers. One side decorated in relief with a pair birds perched in a prunus tree and on a tall rock, reverse and cover with incised decoration. According to Donnelly this type of canisters were made for export to Europe maybe for pharmacies. Cover and vase with boreholes due to former mounting as lamps.
