Heavy Chinese export silver cake server. The handle decorated both sides with bamboo in relief. The shovel with maker's mark "TC" standing for Tuck Chang who was active between the late 19th century and early 20th century in Shanghai and Chinese character marks. The central disc medallion among peonies and the border with lishui pattern. Knotted soft wool pile, cotton warp and fringes. Condition: clean and full pile, cotton selvage slightly worn.
