The cotton ground is block-printed and painted with a central medallion surrounded by meandering exotic flowers and crenelation. Lined with printed cotton, indigo dyed fabric edging. Condition: clean, few very small old mends, little small age stains. Dimension: 121 cm x 83 cm.
A punch dagger with tapering double edged steel blade, each face decorated with a four-armed deity. Straight handle with double-grip, decorated on the side with flowers. Sheath made of wood with velvet lining. Condition: tip slightly chipped, sheath with losses. Some flash rust. Dimension: 44.6 cm long, 7.4 cm wide.
A globular shaped Indian waterpipe base made of zinc alloy, the body decorated with vegetal motifs, inlaid in silver and brass. Condition: inlay losses, bottom with old repair. Dimension: 16.8 cm high, weight: 1160 g.
Lap desk with carved wood panels depicting lions, dogs, elephants and birds among tendrils. Framed by Sadeli micro mosaic, bone and ebony banding. Fitted interior with several compartments made of sandalwood and lined with red velvet or green fabric. Functioning lock with key. Condition: all knobs replaced, missing banding and Sadeli mosaic. Carved panels chipped. Dimension: closed: 32.2 cm wide x 24.2 cm deep, 8.5 cm high, weight: over 2 kg.
A fly whisk (chauri) consisting of long white horse hair and a beautifully carved ivory handle. One end of the handle with a pineapple shaped final and the other side with an inscription in Urdu. Condition: handle with few small age hairlines. Dimension: handle: 15.7 cm long, full length: c. 59.5 cm. CITES documents are obtained if required.
