A cylindrical box and cover on three legs, painted in polychrome enamels and gold. The top of the lid decorated with blossoms, wisteria and butterflies. The side and interior with flower balls. Signed on the base. Condition: minor wear to gilt, the cover outside with a small imperfection and inside with a tiny chip (see pics). Dimensions: 15,4 cm diameter, 7,6 cm high. Weight: 724 gram.

On hammered silver ground the background in transparent and iridescent red enamel. The front depicting an orchid blossom, delicately designed in white, yellow and red opaque enamel, accentuated by silver wires. The interior in deep blue, the rims made of silver: the inferior marked: Jungin (silver hallmark). Ando mark on the base, under enamel in wire. Condition: good.
