"Souvenir d'Alger" a portfolio with 40 albumen prints dating from the 1880's. Showing different views of Algeria, mainly Algier and beautiful portraits of the Algerian people. Three photos are made by Leroux & Cie and some can be attributed to the French photographer Paul Famin. Each photograph is mounted on coeval cardboard. Condition: some photographs are faded, the margins of the cardboards with stains. Dimension: most photos 18.5 cm x 25.4 cm, few are smaller or larger. ...click for details
