The Goddess of Mercy holding a ruyi scepter and sitting on a recumbent elephant harnessed with bells, made of porcelain with milky white glaze. Reverse with impressed two-character Dehua mark within a double gourd and another four character mark. A quite identical Blanc-de-Chine guanyin, but different marking, was sold 13 November 2013 by Bonhams, Edinburgh for $4'500. Condition: diadem of guanyin with tiny chip. A nice glass snuff bottle with inside painting of a white and a baby cat. Dated "jiwei" corresponding to 1979 and signed "Dong Xue". This artist from Hengshui is known for his neihua snuff bottles. The stopper is made of glass and jade, having no spoon. Condition: fine. Dimension: 7.9 cm high.
