Two paintings on velvet, the fabric partially cut and painted with ink and colors. One with the depiction of the floating torii at Itsukushima shrine, the second one with a village at the foot of Mount Fuji. Condition: slightly faded, stained, few areas with wear, four small splits, one with two tiny holes. Dimension with border: 58 cm x 56 cm.

This silversmith was active between the late 19th century and early 20th century in Hong Kong. With original blue silk lined paper box, the lid with glass. A Mandarin square dating from the 19th century. Male back badge (buzi) with an appliqued wild goose bird denoting the 4th civil rank. Silver and gold thread couching and embroidery in blue on dark silk ground, the sun disk is made of small coral beads. Backed with blue silk. Condition: faded, wear, splits, thin areas, lining with stains. Dimension: 32.9 cm high x 33.9 cm wide.
