A pair of exceptional wall sconces with double candle cups. Mirrored Japanese cloisonné plates set within European ornate ormolu or gilt bronze frame. The plates with colorful depiction of a kingfisher and another bird in a lotus pond. Backside with scale pattern. Condition: cloisonné with minor surface wear, one frame with worn gilding. Dimension: 49.5 cm high, diameter plates: 31.6 cm. Weight: 3.62 kg.

Two separately framed Mandarin squares of a male child. A front and back buzi with an appliqued silver pheasant bird, denoting the fifth civil rank. Silk thread couched on dark fabric, the flowers embroidered in Peking knot. Condition: old unopened western frames, textiles slightly out of place, some loose and few missing threads. Dimension: badges: approx.: 19.6 cm x 22.5 cm, frames: 32.2 x 34.6 cm. Weight: 1540 g.

One print depicting an okame chasing away two onis, the second one, with a hawk before a Japanese flag. Two woodblock prints from a textile design book for the kimono trade, originally with 25 prints, produced 1900 in Kyoto. These pattern books were sent by the manufacturer to the shops so that potential customers could see the available assortment. Condition: binding holes, slightly yellowed and creased, fixed together at one margin. Dimension: 23.2 cm x 32.4 cm.
