A pipe bowl made of fire proof red clay with stamped and gilded decoration. Produced in Tophane, a city district of Istanbul. Marked with Arabic script in an oval cartouche. Condition: Two cracks, traces of usage. Dimension: approx. 6 cm long. Weight: 38 gram.

Canton porcelain platter with a central panel depicting insects and flowers, the rim with bird and flower panels, painted beautifully in polychrome enamels and gold. Intermediately different flowers. Condition: Two small chips to rim (see pic), minor wear to gilding. Dimensions: 27,5 cm long x 20,5 cm wide x 4 cm high. Weight: 780 gram.

Canton porcelain platter with two panels depicting court scenes and three panels with birds and flowers, painted beautifully in polychrome enamels and gold. Intermediately scrolls and butterflies. Condition: Good, minor wear to one area of gilded rim (see pic). Dimensions: 27,5 cm long x 20,5 cm wide x 4 cm high. Weight: 780 gram.

A dark patinated bronze of seated Guanyin on a lotus throne, cast in one piece. Her hands in Dhyana mudra holding a bowl. Wearing Boddhisattva ornaments, a crown with Amithaba and jewelry. The garment hems decorated with tendrils. Condition: Imperfections, some holes, some corrosion and missing pieces. Dimensions: 26,5 cm high x 16 cm wide.

A Benten shrine beneath a weathered rock with waterfall, mushrooms and pine branches. On the left side a stone lantern. Five monkeys playing around, on the top of the rock an eagle is watching the scene. On a wooden base a gnarled root piece with decoration in primarily carved stag antler, bone and ivory, the bird with inlaid metal eyes. Condition: A few small losses, surface of the water with stress lines. Dimensions: 25,5 cm high x 25 cm wide x 18,5 cm deep.

A ruyi shaped hard wood box with carved decoration of chi dragons and key pattern meander. The fitting lid made from mottled pale celadon jade, deeply carved with two bats between waves, rocks, clouds and the sun disk. Condition: Good. A small area at the outer border of the jade cover with not disturbing abrasion. Dimensions: 14,4 cm long x 7,9 cm high. Weight: 484 gram.

A small table screen with removable panel. The rectangular jade plaque mounted in a dark wooden frame and stand, with sloped aprons in open work. The jade plaque is of mottled grey color, painted in black, grey and gold, the reverse made of wood. Condition: Loss to one spandrel, traces of former glueing, wear to painting. Nevertheless very pretty. Dimensions: 18,8 cm high x 12 cm wide. Weight: 196 gram.

A Mandarin square dating from the end of the 19th century. A male front buzi with an appliqued wild goose bird, denoting the fourth civil rank. Embroidery on golden metal gauze in vivid colors and metal thread. Dimension: 28,9 cm high x 30,4 cm wide. Condition: Fine.
