| A Mandarin square dating from the second half of the 19th century. A male back buzi with a mandarin duck, denoting the seventh civil rank. Tapestry (kossu, k'o-suu) in silk with metallic thread and painted details. The background was probably covered by peacock feathers, rarely survived to the present days. Condition: Red, green and yellow colors faded. Two small flawed areas. The sides with supplementary border. Dimension: 28.5 cm high x 32.5 cm wide. | |||||||||||||||
