Finely potted Kraak style petal-molded deep plates, painted at the center in underglaze blue. The left one with a bird among flowers, the base with an encircled Chenghua six-character mark. The right one with a fish swimming amongst seaweed in Yuan style. This pattern was popular in Japan for kaiseki, the tea ceremony meal. Please refer to Christies's London 1989: The Peony Pavilion Collection: Chinese Tea Ceramics for Japan, 1580 - 1650, No. 207. Condition: both with rim frittings, the right one with little adhering kiln sand. Dimension: 20.3 cm and 19.8 cm diameter.
