A particular round Chinese silver salver, standing on three taotie feet. The curved sides decorated with flowers and auspicious Chinese characters in open-work. The convex well with engraved decoration of four masqueraded actors. The base with a three Chinese character mark reading "Han Tian Bao", a silversmith active c. 1890 - 1930 in Tientsin, and another round character mark. Condition: fine, only the underside of the feet are slightly consumed (minimal material loss) and the sides with a small dented area (please see photo no. 7). Dimension: diameter: 29.8 cm, 6.6 cm high, weight: 733 g.
