Ottoman Embroidered Textile, Uncut Robe Trim, c. 1920

The basic fabric is a plain cotton or linen weave. Four panels embroidered in pastel colored silks with scrolls, half moon, stars, flowers and tughras. Worked identical on both sides. Condition: Small area with wax residue. Dimension: 56 cm x 41 cm.
