An ancient Egyptian miniature faience amulet of a squatting baboon. The god Thoth was particularly associated with scribes. Dates to circa the New Kingdom, Ca. 1550-1070 BC. Top of head missing however much nicer than the picture captures. Measures 25 mm.
A nice large scarab which would have been sewn on the wrapping or threaded on a net of beads, placed on the mummy. Dates to approx the Third Intermediate Period, 1079-800 BC. Has holes for thread, so that it could be sewn onto the bandages of the mummy. Intact as shown and in good condition with some surface ware. Measures 2.5 inches in length.

Here you find a small ancient Egyptian Stele made of limestone. Goddes Sekhmet is on the right hand side wearing a Solar Disk, with ankh being clutched in her hand and a sceptre in the other hand. Dates to the Middle Period and measures approx 3.5 inches in height.

Here you find a very rare pendant amulet of fecundity, in blue faience, depicts the sky-goddess (mother goddess) Nut as a sow. Seems to be suckling or swallowing her piglets. Dates to the Third Intermediate Period (1085-760 BC). Measures 1 inch in length.

A nice "dummy" or "false" limestone canopic jar! Shows nice workmanship even though the tradition of using Canopic jars for the organs started to cease by this period as the organs were being wrapped and placed back into the body. Sometimes these "dummy" Canopic jars were placed in a Canopic box and other times they were placed within holes in the floor. Here you find a dark green glazed ushabti of Padihor with a lappet-wig, a nicely modelled face with a beard and parallel hands in relief. The front is inscribed with incised hieroglyphs and the back, a blank pillar. Was broken above the foot and reattached. Tiny piece of faience missing on the top of the head. Measure 5 3/4 inches in height.
