Ancient Egyptian Ivory Clappers, Old Kingdom ca. 2649–2150 BC
Here you find two Egyptian clappers, they would have been joined at the end opposite the hands (similar to castanets) and were used as a musical instrument. Two uraei, in frontal view and joined together at the height of their bodies and at the solar disk. Statuette amulet showing nice details of the serpents'. On the front we find six alveoli, and solar disks which were meant to be filled with faience or glass paste, some of which is still present. Has what appears to be a suspension loop on the back. Ancient Bronze amulet representing the Apis bull, standing in a walking position. On his head are the horns, the solar disc and the uraeus, and there is a suspension loop on the back. Has a nice patina and dates to the Late Period. Measures 1"inch in height. Very nice piece!

Small and lovely dark green faience Eye of Horus amulet. It is intact and has a suspension hole. Dates to approx. the New Kingdom, 18th Dynasty. This amulet has an inscription on the back of the god Hathor. Measures 0.5" inch in width. Looks much better then the photo captures.

Here you find a fine marble head of the child horus. Unfortunately the side-lock is no longer present. Horus child is wearing the crown of Upper and Lower Egypt. On the front of the crown we find a uraeus or cobra. Portion of finger on the lips still present. This is one of the finest small marble heads I have seen. Measure 4 inches and is intact as shown.
